Kobol's Last Gleaming: What If
Quite awhile back, xwacky suggested I post my fic on my LJ and I'm finally working on that ;) This story came about when I was rewatching Kobol's Last Gleaming. I had originally thought Bill had ordered Lee brought to CIC so he could yell at him and then throw him in the brig, but he went to the brig to yell at Roslin. Why did he have Lee brought to CIC? What would have happened if Boomer's Cylon programming hadn't kicked in; what if she'd just shaken Adama's hand and graciously accepted his praise as Reacetrack had done? What was Bill going to do with Lee?

Day Nine - We Besiege the Tower of London
Okay...I finally caught up with Xwacky's trip report...and that reminded me I never finshed my own! I got up to Day 8 and then got distracted with birthdays, Christmas, and finally MegaCon (a worthy distration if I do say so myself ;) ) Anyway, I decided I would go ahead and finish posting the other days as I hate to leave stuff undone. A tiny ficlet
I started this a month or so ago but never finished it. Upon learning that yesterday was Apollo's Lady's birthday, I determined to make a present of this little ficlet and so I did :) ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) xwackysuggested I post it here too :) So here it is! This happens right after the end of Crossroads II, only Kara never appeared...not because I didn't want her to, but because I have NO CLUE what to do with her, not knowing if she's a Cylon, a ghost, a hallucination, or what. So...I erased her instead. Sorry Kara fans! This is a birthday gift for Apollo's Lady, after all  Oddly enough, this isn't at all what I planned to write when I started, but you never know what those Adama boys will do ;) |

The barn where my girls ride was lost in a fire
Okay, I've got to get myself some new avatars, 'cause laughing Bill and Lee don't fit with this :( I was going to say "our" barn - but I changed it to avoid confusion- we certainly don't own it...but it feels like home. We have been riding there for almost five years. My girls are just devastated. The horses they ride for their lessons were among the eight horses that died. Sacrifice: Scenes from the Missing Month 3
Here is the final scene. It ends with the opening scene in Captain's Hand.

(and I don't hate Dee as much now as I did when I wrote this...but I'm not taking the time to rewrite her. I wrote her the way I believed Lee felt about her at the time...and that again fits in with his depression and his frustration with his physical condition)
This chapter also contains the other thing we missed during that month - the "Sweaty Lee in the gym" scene! Sooooo not fair!! After all, we got to see Kara working out after she hurt her knee...sometimes I think RDM just wants to torment the Lee fans! LOL I know, shut up and post already! Okay :) |

Fic- Sacrifice: Scenes from the Missing Month
I finally decided (with a little help - waves at falconer17) to post my fic on LJ.
I will begin...at the beginning (a very good place to start...sorry. I promise not to burst into song again)
This is my first BSG fic and it was inspired by the "missing month" between Sacrifice and The Captain's Hand.
What did we miss in the month between Sacrifice and The Captain's Hand? Too much, IMHO!
I was spoiled about Lee getting shot, and I had highly anticipated the Bill/Lee sickbay scene. You know, the one that NEVER HAPPENED? When Kara was hurt (when she crashed on the moon) Bill came to see her in sickbay. He brushed the hair off her forehead and kissed her :) After Bill was shot, Lee came to see him in sickbay. He brushed the hair off his father's forehead and kissed him. You see where I'm going with this? I thought RDM had established a pattern here. Hee. But what happened when Lee got shot? Bill went to the morgue with twice-dead Boomer, brushed the hair off her forehead and kissed her. I felt like Charlie Brown when Lucy pulls the football away!
So...here's what I wish they had filmed for the Bill/Lee fans :) This scene materialized in my brain and wouldn't leave until I wrote it down. It's short and it's my very first BSG fic...I hope you like it. There are now a couple more scenes after this one. I will get them up soon.
